freefast.food ("we", "us") operates the freefast.food service and the Captain AI ordering bot at freefast.food. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email, phone number, and pickup address you provide when creating an account, placing an order, or messaging us.
- Order data — items ordered, store, pickup time, and payment status. We do not store full payment-card numbers; Shopify processes and tokenizes payments.
- Communication content — messages you send to support@freefast.food, our Google Chat bot, our Discord bot, our Telegram bot, or via our website chat. We use these to understand your order and respond.
- Usage data — basic analytics about how you use our website and bots: pages visited, items viewed, response timing.
2. How we use your information
- To take, place, and fulfill your food orders at partner fast-food vendors (Taco Bell, Del Taco, etc.) on your behalf, using their loyalty reward programs.
- To communicate with you about your orders (pickup-ready notifications, status updates, support replies).
- To send marketing emails or SMS, only if you have opted in. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP (SMS), clicking unsubscribe in any marketing email, or emailing us.
- To improve our service, train our internal AI models on aggregated patterns (we do not sell your raw conversations).
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. AI processing
Our Captain AI bot uses third-party large language models (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini) to understand your messages and draft responses. Messages you send may be transmitted to these providers for processing. These providers do not retain your data for training on Anthropic's standard API tier (see Anthropic's data usage policy) or Google's enterprise tier.
4. Information sharing
We share information only with:
- Fast-food vendors (Taco Bell, Del Taco, etc.) — to place your order, including your pickup name and store choice.
- Service providers — Shopify (commerce + customer database), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (SMS once enabled), Cloudflare (hosting), Anthropic + Google (AI processing).
- Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect rights/safety.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Google API services
If you communicate with us via Google Chat or Gmail, our service uses Google APIs under Google's API Services User Data Policy. Specifically:
- We use the Google Chat API to receive and reply to messages you send our Chat bot.
- We use the Gmail API (read + send scopes) to receive and reply to messages you send support@freefast.food.
- We do NOT use Google user data to train AI/ML models, do NOT transfer your Google data to third parties except as required to provide our service, and do NOT use it for advertising.
6. Your choices
- Opt out of email marketing: click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email.
- Opt out of SMS marketing: reply STOP to any SMS.
- Delete your account / data: email support@freefast.food with subject "Delete my account".
- Access / export: email us; we'll provide your data within 30 days.
7. Data retention
We retain order history for 7 years (tax + dispute requirements), account information until you request deletion, and message content for up to 90 days for support quality. AI-bot transcripts are retained for up to 30 days for debugging.
8. Security
We use HTTPS for all data in transit, store credentials encrypted, and limit internal access. No system is perfectly secure; you use the service at your own risk.
9. Children
freefast.food is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes are posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
